German quality at an unbeatable price

5 stars - A dream of a bed!

At first I was unsure whether I should order a bed online without trying it out first. However, there is no real box spring bed with a bed box function for a comparable price anywhere else. Many other beds are just box beds, which was out of the question for me.

The delivery was via Dachser and was really impressive. It arrived quicker than expected and I was even able to choose a convenient time. The driver was extremely friendly and called ahead to let me know. The package arrived safely on a disposable pallet and was very well packaged - each part was individually and very carefully wrapped (see photo).

Two people were able to assemble it without any problems. The quality of the bed really speaks for itself: the workmanship is first-class, the wood looks very high-quality, and the light-colored fabric was an excellent choice. I particularly like the option of choosing between H2 and H3 by simply turning the mattress over - an ingenious solution! Plus the storage space offers a lot of space in smaller rooms.

The bed is impressively high, so that even with my height of 1.80 m my legs dangle in the air when I sit on it. It stands as solid as a rock and doesn't move an inch, even during sporting activities. ;-).

It took me about two weeks to get used to the new bed, but now I sleep fantastically in it. I can really only recommend this bed and would buy it again and again. For this price, it is unbeatable. German quality, great service - 5 stars!

Perfect

There is always room for improvement, but with this bed we don't know what could be improved. Electric adjustment, light with automatic switch-off, the comfort of lying down and, last but not least, the high-quality materials.
Everything at a high level and very good quality.
No background noises like squeaking or rattling.
I/we no longer have back pain or tension in the neck/shoulder area. After many years of having the wrong but expensive mattresses in bed, we are now both finally sleeping really well.
In short, things can always be better, but not with this bed!!!

Affordable and (so far) high-quality box spring bed

Very affordable, real (!) box spring bed, "Made in Germany". "Real" refers to the division of the bottom and top mattress, each with built-in spring cores and the topper on top. Since the word "box spring bed" is not protected, many box spring beds with a bed box are not real box spring beds, because there is only a mattress with a spring core, on which the topper is already placed. You should know this when you are looking around in this area and want to decide on a bed. Because good top mattresses naturally cost a lot of money. That's why you only find real box spring beds in a price segment between 2,000 and 3,000. My search took place both in the real world/stationary stores and online. After reading through a number of reviews, I ended up with this model...

The bed was delivered - just three days after I ordered it - on a huge pallet (210kg in five parts) by a shipping company (in our case: Dachser). I have to make it clear here that the ratings of the shipping companies here will be veeeery individual. Our driver was very young and incredibly helpful. The offer here states delivery to the curb, which is quite common. However, our driver a) helped carry the heavy parts up to the 3rd floor and b) took the packaging waste with him. Of course he got an appropriate tip. But that's still not usual. So praise again to the driver.

The bed was very quick to assemble, the instructions were logical and understandable. You need at least a screwdriver or cordless screwdriver. The fact that the screws are in the headboard is stated in the instructions and also in some of the reviews here.

Once assembled, the bed is of course very high, but we like that. It looks very high quality, nothing squeaks or creaks, the bed box hydraulics work very well. The mattresses make a good impression so far (I've been using them for over a month now). Some users here said that the topper isn't that great. I have no experience with that, it's my first box spring bed. I'm comfortable overall and when the topper is worn out, I'll have my first comparison with a new topper, maybe I'll make an edit here then.

Overall, we are delighted with the bed itself, the quick and excellent delivery, the assembly and the price of this bed. I can't say anything about the service yet, but some reports here say that exchanging mattresses etc. went smoothly. I hope I can report something similar if the need arises.

As with all products that I buy for long-term and daily use, I have purchased an extended warranty, so hopefully I will end up enjoying this bed for a long time.
